| STILLEN
- Known as the Nissan tuners, STILLEN has been working
diligently on learning how all of the intricate
systems of the new 350Z have been designed to work.
This extensive research has led to a line of components
with the high quality expected from STILLEN to properly
tune the Z to live up to its maximum potential.
ENGINE
PERFORMANCE:
Thus far, STILLEN has developed a new supercharger
that pumps considerably more horsepower and torque
from the 3.5-Liter. Still undergoing testing,
the Supercharger will not only be the most exciting
performance booster to have, but a reliable one
to boot. After going through several prototypes,
STILLEN has also produced a true Cat-Back exhaust
system tacking on 13-horsepower at 5,600 RPM to
its stock 287. At press time, STILLEN Full-Length
Headers were undergoing testing, but are certain
to push the 3.5-Liter over 300-horsepower:
SUSPENSION:
Keeping the Z stuck to the road, more rigid front
and rear sway bars have been developed. Bolt-on
applications, the bars feature a 5-way adjustable
design, which offers drivers the ability to tailor
suspension stiffness from 7- to 70-percent. A
sway bar set perfect for the boulevard, or the
track.
BRAKES:
In the interest of stopping the 350Z, STILLEN
has worked with AP Racing to produce two brake
systems to satisfy a variety of drivers and budgets.
One is comprised of one-piece, 13-inch Cross-Drilled
and Slotted Rotors, and 4-Piston Calipers; the
second kit offers two-piece, 14.25-inch Cross-Drilled
and Slotted Rotors, and huge 6-Piston Calipers.
Of course, High-Performance Pads, stainless steel
lines, and aircraft aluminum mounting hardware
are part of each kit.
AERODYNAMICS:
To give the 350Z a more unique, aggressive look,
STILLEN has developed a body kit featuring a Front
Fascia, Side Rocker Mouldings, and a Rear Valance.
Owners can choose between the flush classic style
Side Rockers, or Ducted Rockers helping to create
a truly unique 350Z. Also fresh out of the STILLEN
design studio is a new fiberglass hood. The Hood
offers plenty of room to fit the top-mounted Supercharger,
but for a more economical approach, STILLEN also
offers a Hood Scoop. If you have opted for a Supercharger,
a raised hood is required, and the Hood Scoop
is an excellent alternative to the Fiberglass
Hood. Much like owners of SMZ 300ZX Sports Cars
of the 1990s, 350Z owners can experience the entire
Z performance-building process by STILLEN. Excellent
power, agility, and good looks; after all, what's
big power without the ability to handle it all?
