Electrical Problem with 1993 Maxima

Hello, I have been having problems with the electrical system since I purchased the car at an auction last year. The power locks don't work and today while I was driving the dash lights went out and I couln't put the car in drive until I used the emergency shit button.
My car is an automatic. Any suggestions?

If it turns out I need to install a new electrical system, anyone have any ideas how much that would cost?

you may want to check your tail light sockets for corossion

if thats the case, would that be the problem for everything else, including the door locks.
