Question dashboard gagues don't work

I have a 1990 maxima with electronic dash board. the guages work some times bout most time they do not. as of late they don't work at all. is there anything i can check or do beside spending $400 for a new instrument cluster.

try a junk yard they might have one after 18 years of driving the car some parts begin to wearout and the wiring and screend begin to fail. try car-parts.com too

i was just thinking it might be the fuse or it just might be weak lights it might need to be taken apart and then switch the led light inside the dash. worn wires or broken connection may also cause this good luck

my story:

I know its on another forum, but the timer control unit was the cause of my woes.
Perhaps it may not be the same issue, because mine was never intermittent. I also lost rear running lights at the same time(which is scarry, because the only time to use the lights is at night...)
