HU install and now no dash lights?

I was trying to help my friend install a cd player in her car, something ive done before with no problems but:

Heres the thing, after we got everything hooked back up, her dash lights no longer light up at all, everything else seems to work fine, the HU works fine, all the speakers work, climate controls all work, but nothing lights up inside the car when her headlights are on.

I dont really know where to start with this one, is there wiring having to do with the dash in that area that we may have messed up? Im thinking maybe a fuse got blown somehow, but I dont know where her fuse panel is, plus she doesnt have an owners manual so I dont know where the fuse for the dash lights are.

Another thing, there are a total of 3 connectors that plug into the climate control area, plus 2 for the HU and 1 for the antenna, there is also one for the ashtray and one for the 12 volt socket...BUT theres a mystery connector that doesnt seem to go anywhere, its a 4-pin molex connector and i cant find anywhere it goes, did Nissan wire everything the same whether or not it needed it? there are 3 or 4 wires (i cant remember) that run into this connector, and 2 of them are broken, which i know isnt good, but i cant figure out where the connector goes....so yeah i dont know!

any help would be greatly appreciated, and the quicker the better, because I have to help her out with this again tomorrow afternoon.

Also what controls the power antenna on these cars? Because when I had the blue wire from the HU wired into the blue wire from the wiring harness and have the antenna hooked up at the same time, the power antenna just kept going up and down and up and down...it was freaky, but after i disconnected the blue wire everything seemed to be working fine, I didnt get to test out her radio reception though, plus I couldnt see if the antenna was up or not, ill check more on that later.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

She has a 1995 Maxima, not sure of the trim level, all it had was a radio with a cassette player and manual climate controls.

nevermind, she got it fixed, it was just a blown fuse, which i wouldve gotten around to checking at some point, but she had to take off before i could look at it.
