Question Help: Engine Motor Mount Sensor

Hi ALl,

I replaced the front engine mount on my 97 Maxima with a solid rubber mount. What do I do with the sensor and/or wires to it so that my engine light will go out?

Can I connnect certain wires to bypass the sensor? If so, which colors?

Thanks,

Shortwavedave

There's a motor mount sensor? You might want to just check the codes to see what's causing the light.

Its not a sensor. your mount uses electric current to change the stiffness (durometer) of your MM. pull your codes and see what is triggering your CEL.

I ordered the same borla exhaust too, and love the way it sounds it also looks very nice. I have people asking me all the time what kind of exhaust it is because it sounds so good. I got mine from borla parts here, borla 11763 and was pleased with the price a delviery time. You should also check craigslist sometimes you can find a used set.
