2000 Maxima GLE

Hey guys, my names Frankie I'm about to be 17 and I just got my first car a nissan maxima GLE! At first I was looking to get a 2003-2006 altima 2.5s, but came across this (my father's friend's car) and couldn't pass it up. Its a 2000 with 92000 miles, black with a dark tan interior, and has a sunroof. I just wanted to let ya guys know i'll be roaming the forums because i'm sure ill have some questions. First question is for a spoiler. I feel the car is incomplete without one, so does anyone know how I should go about finding one. My Second question is wheels and tires. What do you guys think about aftermarket, I don't wanna be too flashy, but maybe I could get a nice set of used wheels/tires. Thanks in advance,

congrats on the purchase of the new maxie, they are nice. if u are looking for a spoiler roam around the for sale sections, maxima.org is good one i got mine for 50 bucks it needed a lil work but turned out good. i just had it put on the other day. u can try ebay they sell them. car-parts.com is good too for some oem parts and u can also check out your local junk yard that may have your car. as for your wheels just look around its really up to u what to put on. find a nice design and get it just dont do 20s please. all nissans and infiniti wheels can be swapped. depending on how much u want to spend and what color is up to u, the choices are unlimited. enjoy your new ride post if u need more help

Thanks for the reply. As for the spoiler, I'm going to look at sales section and maxima.org. And for the wheels, I just want something simple. A non-chrome maybe 5 spoke rim that will just give the car a bit more character. Thanks!

yeha i like that kind of desing too, u got alot of time winter is coming up so u decide which oe is best for u and may get a deal on it. good luck post some pics

Absolutely cant wait to post pics. It's just getting serviced for broken tail light, only thing wrong with the car!!

edit- sergey..i see in your sig u have 5% tints, im going to probably like 25% so the cops dont bother me. But how do you not get pulled over haha, either you ride with your windows down all the time or you got a serious PBA card haha.

you can usually find the G35 coupe 17" wheels pretty cheap. thats what i have on my 2000. i paid $400 wheels and tires and the tires lasted for 2 years. well worth it

man thats a good price i got some 07 z wheels off my freind w/no ttires and two need to be resurfaced and the other 2 are brand new i got those for 400

yeah im going for the oem look really, thats why wanted oem wheels. plus its not as hot
