2000 Maxima SE stock exhaust 2.25, 2.50 ??

Hello Everyone !! I am thinking of upgrading the exhaust on my 2000 Maxima SE. I have been browsing the auction sites and found interesting stuff, but I do not know what my factory system size is to determine what to buy ??
I saw a y-pipe with hi-flow converter that I am interested in...does anyone have that upgrade and is it worth it ??
Should I remove the large, middle resonator...what will results be ??
Lastly, supose I just replace the rear muffler...what size and position inlet/outlet is needed... 2.25, 2.50, offset/offset, offset/center, center/center ?? Thanks to all !!
