P0011 anyone??

i jus bought a 2003 max gle from a dealer. its a great car and i love it. about a week after i brought it home the service engine soon light came on. i brought it back to the dealer and thats when i found out that the gas cap will set it off easily if not put on tight enough or whatever. now, 2 weeks i have left to be covered by the nys 60 day lemon law. the light came back on and i went to advanced autoparts and got the codes read. it threw the P0455 which said evap emission control system leak (im guessin that is a result of the gas cap?? but i didnt even gas it up when it came on). The second code was P0011 camshaft position actuator on A-Bank1..... i have no idea what that means but it sounds serious. i brought it to the dealer and they have had it for two days. can anyone tell me what they know about this and if you have had this problem...

not to sure if that is the same code I had on my 2002 max but it sounds like it. If it is the same code it usually comes on due to lack of oil and the sensor working off of oil presure. If this is the case you may have a max 3.5 with the known problem of eating oil pased thru the rings. My 03 eats a quart every 400 miles and the car had been back to the dealership under its 60 day warrenty about 4 times showing them the issue and letting them do an oil cosumption test. Motor is shot and they wanted to put a junkyard motor in there and a year later still have a law suit in progress trying to get them to either at this point pay another dealership to put in a new motor or buy the car back. Keep an eye on this and if u see the same issues let it be known and keep documentation.
