altima boggin at 2,500 rpm's need help...

okay guys need some input on this one... altima has 27,000 miles with intake and exhaust... on the freeway on my way to work going 55 mph, i gunned the padel and got a high rev then the car started boggin... the car won't go over 2,500 rpms on neutral or when in gear... it's an automatic 2.5... if anyone has any information or have had the same problem happened, please let me know... some people think it is the o2 sensor on the catback and that i need a new cat... new spark plugs??? fuel filter... i also have warranty until 100k but wondering if the intake and exhaust would void warranty... thanks guys...

mine starting bogging at one point too, i went to the dealership, i burnt out the crank pulley sensor, and melted the #2 cylinder coil, have them check it out, and our cars don't use spark plugs by the way, that's where the cylinder coils come thru.

yes our cars use spark plugs, folks. there is a coil on EACH plug instead of a common one, but the plugs are still there in the top of each cylinder.

Yeah...sounds like your alty went into safemode. More then likely your going to need a new MAF. Put back the old intake and take it to the dealer!

Is it a 02?? Did you get the TSB NTB02082 done. that could be the problem.

More Info on NTB02-082

Hope this helps

yes, when i took my car to the dealer i had everything exactly how it is, my headers, intake, exhaust, everything you read in my sig, they didn't care, the problem wasn't from my aftermarket parts, so everything was free and fixed.

Well hope the dealership will perform the applicable TSBs without giving you the run around.

You need a new MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor. Remember to put everything back to stock for your engine or they will void your warranty. It happened to me at 1800 miles.
