TCS and Slip light on and SES light on.

Just wondering if you have come across this problem. The 2 lights are on. I have not hit anything or have driven through deep snow. The temp outside is 20 * F. Cold. The slip light will go out after the car has been driving for a few miles and you turned off the engine then back on. The SES light will stay on for at least 60 + miles. 02 3.5 Altima
Thanks

My car is way out of the warrenty period. Jees I hate bringing it to the dealer all they do is rub thier hands together and get you to sign your life away.

Sad to hear this. I have the same problem. SLIP on loose traction ( looks like car breaks..) after ABS AND TCS lights on. same thing even with TCS off.--after the lights on problem dissapears, yes because ABS and TCS will be turned off by computer
So my question : it is the TCS or the ABS sensor?--I think that it will be the ABS--
No warranty on car,but monday i go to check the car.
Any comment is welcomed,thanks !

Levi

I'm pretty sure that the TCS and the ABS uses the same sensors. So if one of those sensors go both the TCS and the ABS lights would turn on.

It's amazing to me how many people just say "get it fixed under warrenty". My car has almost 80000 miles and had been out of warrenty for at least two years.

Thanks RNBRN21 for the comment.
Hopefully won't be too expensive. I will try it first to my mechanic just after the dealership. I will post the result...
My car has already 170000 KM so what warranty..
