timing chain/water pump service?

when am i suppose to be looking into getting that done? i ahve 75k miles now.... and how much does nissan charge for it? parts and labor.

time chain usually last life of car...h2o leave alone unless its leaking or ur over heating

but isnt it better to service it before it starts showing over heating symtoms?

i really dont want my car to overheat
if i leased it i woudlnt care lol

Be more concerned with your butterfly valve screws and pre-cat injestion. Do the loctieng and buy a aftermarket header.

Waterpump would normally get changed with a timing belt, maybe thats what your thinking of. They do that because it usually needs to come off anyway, so it's cheap insurance to put a new one on while the motor is open for the belt. That said, because we have a timing chain (THANK GOD), you can wait until it leaks or stops cooling the car well. You won't hurt anything by waiting (unless you let it leak out totally and overheat the car excessively.
