I had a opportunity to get a hold of a 06 Mitsubishi Evolution when I bought the Altima. However, the wifey outranks me and if I wanted to live the rest of my life in harmony, I better follow her orders! So, we check the Altima out; bigger trunk, better gas mileage, and pretty cheap. The Evo was my better choice; didn't really need to mod for the HP, it was already there, nice size and it had ADJUSTABLE SEATS!!!!
Adjustable seats.
So after buying the Altima and driving all they way from Alabama to California, the wifey made her first initial complaint about the car:
The seat won't go up.
The chick lets the seat back so that she is nearly in a Lazy Boy and when I tell her to let the seat back up she complains that it hurts her back. So when I told her she may have to get a booster seat, her mind started racing.....she wants to have the motorized seats that are found in either the SL, the SE, or the SE-R models. Which leads me to ask you guys some questions:
Are the wiring connections are in place in case you want to add something like motorized seats? BMW normally have that kind of set up in their 3 series. If so, where can I go to find a cheap pair without getting raped by Nissan?

don know bout the wiring..but damn bout wife complaining...dont u kno that women change there mind on alot of things very often? i woulda gone wit the evo man..o wells
I assume when you say she had the seat laying back like a Lazy Boy she was in the passenger side. The motorized controls are only on the driver seat at least they are in my 03 SE.

Oh no....this is when she is in the drivers seat! When she first complained about not being able to see well, she clipped a curb on the right rear tire. Thank goodness I hadn't put on the Niche Rhines yet...... With the car being projected to be kitted and lowered before the end of November, she is scared that she'll pop a lot of curbs. When I saw how she was sitting, I simply told her to adjust the back of the seat so she can see the right side, but she complained that it was too uncomfortable.
I'll check under the drivers seat later on today (when or if the tempeture drops below 80 degrees) to see if its been prewired. I am pretty sure they have already.

You said it..... I had her sold on the Evo before we left Germany. I thought I wouldn't see one until we were in California, but there was one in Alabama, brand new! her 360 change of heart was like a stab to the nuts for me!!!
I have one question... How do you go from "maybe" purchasing an EVO to getting the 2.5 Altima? When I first started reading I figured you had at least purchased the 3.5

if you ever plan on starting a family w/ her, the altima is a better choice. Trust me.
Hacku:
It wasn't a maybe.....it was etched in stone!!!! The only question was where I was going to buy it from; Alabama, Florida (my vacation spots) California, or Nevada (where I was to be stationed next)! I went to the Mitsubishi dealership in Alabama and saw the Evo on the showroom floor. The only 2.5 Altima sat out in front on the lot. The rest of the cars were garbage......except for the Eclipse Spyders. When I was approved for either the Evo or the Altima, the wifey bailed on me! She wanted the Altima! And since I knew Nissans (being a former Maxima owner), I knew I can mod the dog piss out of it! But it would never catch an Evo, let alone beat it.

She could have got a minivan!!! Besides the Nissan dealership in Alabama was giving me a hard time when I was trying to get either a 3.5 SE or the Maxima. I never expected the Evo to be in any car lots in Alabama. Call it a fluke.......

.
I know some other person who drives like that in an Alti I can't understand how he drive like that and see. I guess the 2.5 doesn't have that lumbar support lever on the right side of the seat... shoulda got the 3.5

My wife and I are in the market for a minivan. :-\
2.5 has the lumbar. It's not pre-wired. I had my seats out the other day and no such plugs, unless it was well hidden. I'm sure all it would need is a constant 12v though. You could buy just the seat bottom frame, or just the electric module/pieces. Not sure how they come, but the seat is pretty simple to tear apart.
