I got rear ended too last year and the body shop who fix it left a hole. After it rains I had a puddle of water in my trunk. make sure no hole where left.

Sorry dude, at least insurance will foot the bill...

You should try to go for an SE-R-bumper upgra....oh, nevermind, you already have an

Nice car though - looks like it could have been a lot worse...

And f*ck fixing the hole - make damn sure you get a whole new bumper with that kind of damage.

Exact same thing happened to me almost 2 years ago, but there was hardly any damage but i made 'em paint my bumper and check for damages.

I come out of my car and ask the lady what happened? she says, "I dont know?"!! Anyway i asked for her driver's Lic. and insurance card and she didn't say a word, my car was taken in couple of days later and fixed and back to me in less than a week, they even gave me a check for 100bucks, just to show their appreciation because i didn't say Oh my back, or my ass hurts now.

That was my main concern, the wife and I were the only ones on board, luckily our 2 daughters were left home that day.

last week this almost happened to me, but 10x's worse:
i was "minding my own bussiness" at a traffic light waiting for the green. my windows were down and the music was off, all the sudden i hear a loud screeching skid coming from behind me. I turn my head and watch a honda doing about 80mph+ slame right in the back of the car next to me causing a 5 day pile up only one lane over.
it was bad, real bad.. i shit a brick and went straight home for the rest of the night.

that makes the two of us, i got rear-ended after school yesterday. First accident and i only had the alti for a couple of months. such a sad thing. the person who rearended me was going faster than yours and sent me into the car infront of me. it sucked so bad.

did you at least get a shot off? i've wrote that before that i was rear ended by an illegal alien with 800 miles on my car. my car was missing the back quarter of teh car he was going around 60 when i was slowing down for a light to turn. from the left of my license plate to my drivers rear tire was missing. his front passenger tire (rotor, caliper, and everything) went flying off when he hit me. I felt good to get an illegal sent back at least.
bummer about your car though

at least there's no real damage done to the car. a new bumper, trunk hinges and a few bits and peices for the trunk and it should be fine.

Seriously though he goes through his insurance, he's still gonna have a deductible that just flat out sucks. I totalled a little Prizm a couple years ago...it was nuts I wish I still had the pics. But that totally stinks! Hope it gets fixed fast.
