APR brand any good?

Found out that APR might have a strut bar for the altima, was justing wondering if they are any good.

APR Performance Flex Control Bar

I know Taz makes them and might be a little cheaper from him, but I thought the gunmetal version of the APR one might look good on my black altima. Also was wondering if this might be a one size fits all type of part that APR makes just ot make money, and a specific application.

APR makes quality products, but I say go the Taz route because then you do know it's made specific for your car. An engine bay has a hood on it for a reason and nobody can see whats underneath so personally the gunmetal should not be an issue, tho I like the stock look under the hood as it has the sleeper status and doesn't scream look at me!

I'm not too sure but I think there is no hood clearance with the APR FSTB. I would worry about the fitment first and not the color... go with Taz's FSTB.

When I inquired with APR back in May 2007 the bar is actually for the 2.5L Altima but Yes, with modification to 3.5L engine cover, upper IM, the bar is supposed to fit. Fortunately my son said to check with Racingline Performance. Check the reviews of the FSTB on his site. Search also on the forum: Racingline FSTB #65653876976. 40 pages of info from the inception to fruition of the bar.

i would recommend it. because i have one although i have a different model which i prefer only cause it just looks better and just looks like a more sturdy design. i have a 2.5 and i have to modify the engine cover a bit (i cut off about two inches) if not you will hear a knocking noise when the engine flexes while driving. this is the site where i got it. it actually $40 less then when i got mine like 7 months ago.
