Lets get it out of the way: MPG

Okay, there is hundereds of posts about people trying to get better gas mileage and it always turns into everyone posting their own. This is going to be the forum that has every one post their own and then skip two lines and say what type of driving you do.

I'll be the first to start.

2005 Altima 2.5s
21 City/ 33 Highway

Drive rough in city and cruise at 65 on highway.

^^^^See? Simple. Now this should be the last fourm that handles this topic.

Mike

2005 Altima SER (3.5) 38,000miles

17.5 city/23 highway

City= beat the living **** out of the thing at times, but drive like a grandma at others. Basically, where ever I'm driving, for the first 5 miles I'll redline whenever possible, then realize how much gas I'm burning and slow down.

Highway= Normally just a 70MPH cruise, but if someone's dicking with me, I'll let the VQ scream.

05 Altima 3.5 (Manual) 22.1 City/29.1 Highway Drive nice and easy in the city and usually about 85-90 on the freeway. Its odd but I always seem to get better milage when my RPMs is about 3000 in 5th gear then anywhere else. Maybe less slowing down and speeding up.

Just stick in the cheap shit unless you have high performance mods like a turbo or supercharger. THen you already know what to stick in your tank.

Just use costco gas... don't spend money on chevron... have you not read the news papers where it says they have "record profits for chevron/exxron"

DOn't you get it.. they are screwing you.

Nice to meet those drivers that put us all at higher risk for accidents, and at highway speeds, death.

Search "mileage" and my username if it's that important to you, and you'll find more than 1/2 dozen occasions that I have posted it.
