Production Date

How can I tell what the production date is for my Altima?
The Vin is 1n4al11d72c141626

I think it says on the sticker on the inside of the drivers side door.

You can't with the VIN just look like ^ posted in the bottom of the driver side door.
These are their meanings for large (more than 500 r 1,000 cars mfg) manufacturers.
WMI - World Manufacturer ID
1n4
Model
al11d (the second 1 is the trim/safety features code)
Check digit
7
Model year code
2
Factory (not sure)
c
Rolling chassis
141626

Starting with Model Year 2010 the 7th digit will be alpha to help recognize, with the 10th digit which is the year code, 2010 to 2039 cars. VIN # were going to duplicate because 1980 year CODE is the same as 2010 year code.

All these is from my mind and may be some errors. For the model code (4th to 8th digits) there must be some formula/translation/algorithm for each manufacturer to know the characteristics of the vehicle.

Nissan, supposedly, is ready for this issue but the one that I work for, is still working with it.

PS you will know the year and month but not the DATE (my other project @ work)
