Question New Obx-R headers installed, cars resonates alot need advice please!!!!!!

i have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5S with OBX throttle body spacer-K&N typoon CAI- Magnaflow muffler- custom downpipe no cats-Resently installed OBX-R 4-1 headers, when i installed the headers yesterday the car resonates alot when u give it some gas, and i have seeing cars with my same mods and headers and they sound perfect, can somebody help me and advice me please

are you talking about vibrates, rattles and loud?? make sure you have all your header bolts tighten including the lower bolt that holds it to the engine block. this should prevent all vibration/rattles from the header itself. you also might want to go with a bigger resonator to quiet down the tone.

For one its a header, you only have one. Also it sounds like you probably don't have a resonator anymore and now you don't have any catalytic converters to absorb any sound and can be loud. Like said above get a resonator put on to absorb some sound.

Thanks for the advice guys i am gonna go to the performace shop where i did my exhaust and get it checked, and i think i am gonna need a high flow cat or a resonator, but lets see how it works out tomorrow in the shop Thanks one more time for the help i really apreciate it

Even with the resonator and cats, your car is going to experience some rattles. That's just how headers are.

but i have seeing 2.5L altimas with my same mods and they dont make the resonate sound that my car does, i dont know i have to get it check and see what the problem is, i really apreciate you guys for the advice thanks
