the only thing i personally found trouble with was tapping the wires near the tweeter.. reason being is because i didnt want to unhook those wires nor unwrap much of that tape lol.. kinda hard to get your hands in that angle with the steering wheel in the way.. but everything else went pretty smoothly besides the biting mosquitos out here.. i had shorts on lol.. instructions were very easy to follow tho.. hard to not understand

yo bt, if there if people are experiencing a relay buzz, you might want to look into getting a different relay. its odd....I had a relay from radioshack and it buzzed with my setup.
I later ordered a lot of 10 relays off ebay, and none of those buzz in the same circuit.

Do you remember the vendor you bought them from? And are they a diode or resistor suppressed type?
The ones I have are 30/40A. I don't remember how I wired it, I will try to dig up the schematic I did some time ago...
Hmmm. I am curious about this now. I am using a good quality resistored relay in the kit, and I have a diode suppressed one in mine.
For those that are curious about what this little conversation is about, it has to do with the dome light circuit. For the first second after the light comes on, power is increased to give a brightening effect, and the opposite when it is going off. This can and in many cases will cause a relay hooked to that circuit to buzz for that exact same second because the power is fluctuating.
The talk about diodes and resistors has to do with a protection device on the relay. When the power is released off of a relay (it closes), it can send a spike through from the coil inside of it that holds it open when energized. This spike can be harmful, and with the dome being controlled by the BCM, i prefer to use a relay that protects it.
Actually quite clear for anyone that even dabbles in electronics. However, if an electrical engineer comes along they will probably have a few things to say about it lmao. Sometime they are just too smart tehe
