We don't have an autozone. We have a checker/oreily's but their selection is crap.

Have to remember that Spike is on a rock in the middle of a really big pond, and many of the retailers that are available on the mainland are not there.

I am thinking about buying enough of the components to make these kits for anyone who is interested. Couple of questions though.
Do you want it a basic manual kit like the one listed here...Simple on off?
Do you want it to come on with the key fob/door?
Do you want both of above combined(door, key fob, switch)?

Flying into Kauai and the hopping over to Honolulu for a day or two. Gonna be a BIG difference from here tehe

Oh brother. I know, being a fellow Hawaiian, that Spike will give you crap about your spelling. KAUAI. Hawaii is a state, and NONE of the islands have that name.
I would like a set that comes on with the dome light....no need for the key fob because as soon as you open the dome light kicks on anyways. and I would just mount it in the spot next to the dimmer switch. make me one please. white. thanks.
A much easier place to tap into the dome light wires is in the drivers side a-piller, its way easier than getting upside down and digging under the dash for the wires near the bcm. Thats where i tapped it for my audi drl and puddle light circut.

Hmm....should've figured that there would be a wire that runs to the dome light through the pillar....that never crossed my mind.
