Block heater cord location

Alright so unfortunately I am stuck living in Edmonton for another year and I never found my block heater cord yet. Does anyone know where the hell this thing is located? I have a 2004 Altima 3.5SE.

If you have one, it will probably be just behind the front grill, probably on the left. Look for a cord or plug in that location.

You're wrong. It was an option in the US and standard equipment on Canadian Altimas.

OP - I don't know where the plug can be found, but you can see if the heater is on the block and follow the wiring:

I will try to follow the wiring, that's a good idea. Do you happen to know how the engine is positioned in the car relative to that diagram? And will I have to remove the engine cover to find it?

Amen.

When I moved to Edmonton (1990) I had no clue what a block heater was...We had to have aftermarket ones installed on our vehicles...When I found out you have to plug you car in in the winter I just about flipped. I haven't lived there in almost 15 years and I AM NOT going back.

That being said, did you buy it new, or was it used? If used, it may have come from out of province and might not even have one (we moved from Nova Scotia - no block heaters there).

I bought it used just a few months ago, but it was bought new from Sherwood Nissan, which is just outside of Edmonton. So I assume it should have one.

^Check to see what province it was originally sold from - you shouldn't have that much trouble locating a plug

That is unfortunate. lol

Block heater cord should be coming out on the drivers side above and left of the headlight.

Accessories will be on the left (facing) of the diagram.

Thanks for your help guys, I finally found this ****ing thing. It was hiding behind the passenger side headlight, right in front of my eyes. The thing is still dead as Michael Jackson though
