x2. If you are doing plugs then it's almost a no brainer to do them while you are at it. I enjoy mine and Aaron is a super guy. Nice quality product. Just make sure that whoever installs them follows the instructions. My dad and I did mine and didn't have any problems what-so-ever. I would however recommend that you you remove the wipers, cowl and metal strut brace to install them. Only takes a few more minutes to do but could save you quite a bit of time. We didn't remove them to install the plugs and spacer kit but when we installed the HFC's I removed them and saw that it would have been much easier to remove them rather than squeeze my forearms between the elbow and the metal brace. Just a tip though.

I say do them.

does anybody have any videos of what te timing chain whine sounds like? I have 120k on the odo and am getting paranoid, although I suspect that some of the noise is coming from my noisy injectors that have been noisy since day 1

Just as an FYI to everyone, don't open your radiator cap after running the car, even if for JUST a short time. I found that my overflow tank went from "FULL" to completely empty over the course of the night. I'm baffled since I checked everywhere around the car this morning and found no drips or leaks. And to have it all go away so quickly over night.. yeah, hard to believe. So I started up the car for a second to go to work but got the idea to check my coolant in the radiator. Turn off the car, go to the radiator, pop it open and GOOOOOSH! goes coolant. Sigh. What a mess. Well at least my radiator was still full. I'm guessing there was probably still some minor pockets of air in the system and it kind of use the overflow tank as a means of getting that coolant. Filled it up just now and will be watching it like a hawk. >.>'

coolant is some slick shit too. I remember doing my header install on a slick concrete floor and then taking off the top radiator hose only to have what seemed like 2 gallons of coolant hit the floor and make a slick mess for me to work in.....hahaha loser

I wish I could recant my statement. Lol.

Why not change it to Gene 3.5? I would rather use that.

I think we should start a poll on which one to use and let the other members vote on it...

Gene3.5 or DAOTY (Dumb Ass Of The Year)

That was my feeling too. I will stick with my plan to install the spacers. However, I am a little uncomfortable with all the relearning at the end of the install. I don't want to create new problems.

I have also heard about the Nismo radiator cap causing issues, so I will hold off on buying it.

Ask BT on how easy the idle air relearn is.

Trust me, your biggest concern should be not getting any air leaks. Sure with enough RTV it's possible; which is why I wont buy these. I loved the 350Z spacer which had dual gaskets. Made the install simple.

Just ordered 2 new CV axles. Gonna replace them as soon as they get in. Was doing an oil change tonight and saw think grease everywhere. i laughed it off as I found the tear in the pass. side boot because I have been wanting to replace them for a while. I used this as an excuse to "get" the wife's buy in. You know how the extention shaft gets all rusty looking? Would it be ok if i painted it with ceramic based paint, like caliper paint to help prevent the ugliness from returning. ( i know enough to mask off the splines etc....ha ha ha.
