Realized last night how stiff the rl springs are. Installed a rear camber kit and drove around about 15 miles and the rear looked stock. Still surprised I needed a rear camber kit with these springs. I was almost 2 degrees out of spec. I've seen others need the camber kit and others who sit lower than me and don't need it. Not sure why. Unless its the alignment shops.

What was the camber at before the camber kit? 2 degrees out of spec should put it around -4 degrees of camber
How hard is it to replace an engine yourself? My Alti is burning oil (a lot) and I'm pretty sure the piston rings and valve guides are probably done for, and for how much it costs to get that fixed (the labor), I figure it might be worthwhile to get a hold of a remanufactured QR25DE instead. (Gotta start saving up that $1500 )
If I can avoid labor, I'll do that. Assuming the reman. engine comes fully assembled with a full gasket set, it's all bolt-on, right? From what I understand, however, it's ridiculously heavy and requires a small crane of some sort to drop it in.

A camber kit isn't necessary, or better yet, you can get away without a camber kit. From my point of view, I look at it as not important.
But you might be the type to feel that it's necessary and there's nothing wrong with that. There's just some of us that deal with the camber.

You gotta drop the subframe in order to remove the motor, so if you have access to a lift then go for it.
I was -2 degrees out of spec and was able to get back in spec with the camber arms. I added the front camber bolts but they didn't do too much unless they didn't adjust it. I'm beginning to realize why people said the rear eibach pro kits look better than the rl. I wish it was a half inch lower. But I wasn't sure what the different spring rates were going to feel.
OK fockers...First SES light today Pulled the code manually and seemed to have counted 2 separate codes during the light flash count cycle. Looks like P1800 and P2000 to me but I need some back up opinion...
Went to Advance to verify and pulled a U1000 network communications circuit bullshit.
