Steering wheel and ignition locked

Parked my car this morning with the steering wheel to the right (I had to go in my house and grab my wallet). When I got back in my car I put the key in the ignition and try to start it and the key wont turn. So I turn the steering wheel and it locked up as well. I tried turning the steering wheel both direction while turning the key trying to unlock it and nothing. Finally, I pushed the car a bit and managed to unlock the steering wheel but the key still wasn't turning. Could this be an ignition problem? Could the key be worn down?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!

Sounds like what happened to me; problem with the tumblers - http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/200...y-my-keys.html

Good luck. I had to get it towed to a $tealership. I won't say how much I paid, but it was over $500 to fix. Hopefully you get a better deal.
