I agree with you, we had our lesson, so no more stupid driving on the road, were going to the track to have fun in a safe environment.

Naw. A light burned out last week, so I put brighter lights in. Until she complains about visibility, I'm going to leave them as is.

Cleaned my ride up as usual this weekend, and then went and met up with some other Nissan enthusiasts from CNIC (Chicago Nissan Infiniti Club).

This picture was taken just after an old school Maxima had pulled out, and just before a beautiful 280Z along with a turbo'd out Toyota Supra showed up.

Never went to a car meeting but I do notice that there's a random supra in like 90% of them (???)

What the heck? (not a complaint just a random observation)

Finally rotated my tires (need new ones, but best on front for now), and reinstalled my traction rods that have been off since replacing the control arms earlier this year.

More marked off of my list: I replaced front and rear pads on both sides & removed a nail then repaired my left rear tire. I had a pretty productive night.

New front set of rotors delivered yesterday, installed today. Powerslot rotors and Powerstop ceramic pads. First time I ever did them without getting dizzy from the heat and sweating my ballz off - nice and cool weather here.

Nice when I can take a bit of time and just go out back at work and do it. I had planned to do it Friday, but this way I'm done with no worries.

Sent possibly from the shitter on my HTC EVO, bizneeaatch...

There was a race after the meet that I wasn't part of, but the Supra blew everything away, including the Maxima's that were there.

It was my first Nissan meet my damn self, and after meeting with other Nissan owners, it may have been my last.

For the most part, it was a bunch of rich, snobby little arrogant teenagers who inherited their Nissan's from their parents, and most had just a couple of mods on them like CAI and fart can exhausts complete with loud stereo systems, blacked out windows and stickers all over their cars, and most of them were lowered too.

It was very strange too, because while my car doesn't have a bunch of mods, it is super clean, but it really didn't get much of a second look from anyone there.

99% of the cars there were scratched & dented up bad with ripped up shitty interior, but because a car had CAI, low profile tires on shitty rims and a fart can exhaust with Nissan badges missing, it was deemed cool and everyone gawked over it.

I wish them luck when they go to resell their cars one day, because most that were there are gonna need it.

That doesn't suprise me. Our cars, Altimas, can be bought used at a fairly inexpensive price so a lot of younger people drive them.

Cleared the P0021 code again. Anyone else had this pop up? Now been 3 times in 14 months.

Added another quart of 5W30. This car eats oil at an alarming rate.
