Just ordered a pair of KYB shocks and Raybestos Rotors. And KYB oil filters for both cars. super cheap compared to in-store.

All should be on time for installation next weekend.

Was gonna prep/detail it for sunday's meet after I got home, but the heat had made me go inside, which made me lazy. It's like if there was an angel on my right shoulder whisperin' to me to detail my car and a devil on the other shoulder sayin' to go inside cuz I'm a lazy bastard...

Mannn, I wish my lenses were still good. Ugly oxidized headlights on a clean car, are like a hot bodied chick with thick nerd glasses and bushy eyebrows. Hopefully the dude who's parting his car still has the OEM headlights so I can buy them.

So I cleaned the car today, besides the wheels which I will windex & tire shine tomorrow before a car meet here in NorCal. Can't wait, and wish I had a nice camera...

True dat, thats why I finally broke down and bought some ebay ones. Even though I had to mod them to reuse the stock backs and reflectors. Clear lenses looks so much better. Ive wet polished and buffed the old ones so may times but new car headlights are always so nice.

Good job Nismoaltimaguy...

NismoAltimaGuy,

What did you use? I have the 3M sanding kit which I haven't tried yet but did try Meguiar's with decent results.

Tried to bleed my clutch fluid but I got the wrong size aquarium hose . Once I get down to Camp Lejune this afternoon I will spend a good 30 minutes scrubbing all the dam bugs off my bumper.

I used the 3M Lens Renewal Kit.
3M? Lens Renewal Kit with Protectant 39045 - Headlight Lens Restoration - Products

3M also has a basic kit called 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System. This one doesn't come with the masking tape or lens protectant (Wax)
3M? Headlight Lens Restoration System 39008

For those that want to do this and haven't done it before there is a Youtube video for it. Pretty easy but just need time.

You gonna put a fuse between the battery/alternator??? If so how large, this is on my list of things to do for both my Altima and Cobra.
