well after 8 months, i can't take the vibrating any longer. I was hoping i would get used to it. Whenever i have someone in my car, they always comment about the vibrating and noise, especially since it sounds like my engine is knocking. Passengers always ask, "man whats wrong with your car?"
I currently have solid MM all the way around. I was thinking about replacing just the right MM back to OEM. Do you think its a good idea to have all solid and one OEM? Logic is telling me that it would probably be better to replace two (top right & left) in order to disperse the vibrating. However, Im cheap and dont want to spend a lot of money since Im going to have to pay a mechanic to do all of this, plus buy the parts. So you think i can get away with just replacing one MM?
Altima3568, I'm trying to figure out if you skipped the nylatron mounts completely, or if these are the nylatron mounts you are complaining about.
You mentioned solid motor mounts; I am assuming you went straight for the aluminum, but yet never mentioned the nylatron mounts which are not as aggressive and are also offered by Red Lion.
sorry to hear about the vibrating issue bro, but if u did a little bit of research on the mounts before you bought them, you would have found that the solid mounts are going to be stiff and therefore vibrate because u are replacing the rubber with a solid material which has no slack to absorb the shock and vibrations. going with nylatron like kev said would have been a better option if u went the aluminum route. if u plan on going back to oem, id recommend saving up money and doing them all at once. no need to pay the mechanic seperate times for each mount, it will be cheaper to do it all at once. gl.

Trust me, I knew there was going to be more vibrating and noise. I said that in my post 8 months ago. I just didn't expect the amount Im experiencing now. Thats all. I have the nylatron mounts. I'm planning on replacing just one back to OEM because i don't want to have to replace the weak factory mounts in the future.
EDIT: Do you know if the MM's are the same or different between 2.5 vs 3.5?

i replied w/o seeing the old thread first, read it after posting n saw what u said. when i replaced my mounts, i bought them as a set, and there were diff sets for the 2.5 and 3.5. As for the possibility that a single mount in the set can be used for both 2.5 and 3.5, that i dont know.
