Exclamation Passenger Side Door Handle

Hello everyone. !

The other day I was outside of work and hadn't had a smoke in almost 4 hours and was really tired and irritated. I was talking to a friend of mine and I kept trying to cut him short as I just wanted to leave and be just kept going lol. Anyway, I thought that I unlocked my doors with the remote. Apparently, I didn't and when I went to open the passenger side door, and the door handle snapped off.

I was wondering what the best route would be to take to fix it. Take it back to Nissan and get raped or is there a better route to go?

The part is available from Nissan prepainted to match your car. Install is not the easiest thing to do, but can be done. If you don't fell you can, check around at some body shops as well as the dealer.

Same thing happened to me. I used an epoxy putty from Lowe's. It comes in a tube. Looks like a little debbie snack because the center is a different compound and color than the outter layer. You cut off a piece and mash/mix it to activate it (only stays pliable for a few minutes.) Line the inside of the handle with the putty - dries quick and really hard. Just remember to rough up the mating surface with a little sandpaper or score them with a knife. The hair line crack is barely visible and it's held tight for over a year now.
