Yes like that. There are different concepts of designs from different manufacturers, and this is a nice quick clean way to do it. NWP makes good products. Others can and will also!
Yes, its adjustable and fixed. Still I am sure most would be happy with a design such as this. Yet im waiting on the other responses and potential designs.
I sent you a PM but will update this thread anyway:
I've got the bracketry made for these, I just ran into a problem with the damper itself, as the company I was having make these for me couldn't make one that was:
1) Small enough in length, as it would bottom out
2) Rebuildable, as dampers don't last forever, it needs to be easily rebuildable for the consumer or me if you send them to me
3) Cheap. Lol didn't want you guys paying $175 or $200 for a part.
Anyway, I've been swamped with motor mount and control arm bushings lately, but look for these around Christmas!
Looking forward to seeing these come into production, my motor mounts are shot due to how much this motor shifts. Now will these be for both QR and VQ, or are you just catering to the VQ crowd?
I have heard back from all 3 vendors, so I will list them by name....Positive news from all 3. We will have to see which materializes 1st.
1. RacingLine
2. NWP
3. RedLion
Please, keep your opinions about each vendor to yourself, good or bad.....don't want to hear it and def. don't want to discourage ANYONE. I am pushing pretty hard to help light a fire to bring these to market, as well as other items, so I would appreciate your professional attitude, and PLEASE put funds aside so that when these are available we can pull the trigger! (Remember why we don't have more vendors making stuff for our cars, and tread lightly)

This is more important than any of you might know. I know Racingline's business intimately, but I am sure that I can speak for all of them.
Bringing a new product to the table is ALWAYS hard to do. Time, money, etc are all fronted by the manufacturer in the HOPE that there will be a positive return on the investment. That has not been the case with with some products offered for the Altima in the past.
This is something that is being asked for. Lawrence kinda has his neck on the line with it, and I am sure he knows that. You don't call this type of thing out and not end up with egg on your face if it does not go well.
Bottom line...I don't care whose gets to market first or which one you may buy, but support for the product is the only way to make things like this go. The 3rd gen is a dying breed, so there is a lot more resistance to start new things for our platform than say...the 4th gen.

Because I would rather support the few vendors we do have. If we continually look outside our community, we may find ourselves without any supporting vendors.
