Vendor Call Out: Engine Strut Brace

Ok, seems as though I, and others have waited long enough for ANY vendor to offer these. Are ANY of you ever going to offer these? Please let us know, if not I will source out a machinist to work with me on offering one. Racing Line, Red Lion, and NWP....You are here by put on notice, lol, I will be contacting each of you personally and reporting back here what you have to say....UNLESS you can and will respong within this thread. Thanks, seriously though, this would be a nice item to have. Dont wait for someone else to jump 1st, be a pioneer!

Doesn't the first one usually make the most dough?

Things I'd like to see:

Easy install
Damper instead of a rigid bar
Non-intrusive placement
My picture on the shipping box
Color options
And if it's feasible, a way to adjust the stiffness

Agreed with all of your listed criteria. Forget the "color" options. I have everyone covered. I can powder coat the main part (barrel) of the damper just about any color conceiveable. WHICH is why...DEAR vendor whom will make these, PLEASE send me one not colored or other, just raw. I will add color.

Educate me please. What is the purpose of an engine brace with an Altima?

Holds the engine still which allows the power created by the engine to be more transplanted to the ground via the wheels rather than wasted when the engine flexs and moves. Basically it restricts the movement of the engine similar to th motor mount, but stiffer. (some can be user adjusted for stiffness)

4DZC,

Appreciate the information. I have a couple of pretty quick late model year Vettes and I've never seen similar upgrades for them. This mod may be similar to old street rods we used to take to the track. We chained down tight the rt. side of the engines to limit torque losses as the engines tried to twist themselves out during hard launches, but we were talking about major torque there!

Please keep this thread on topic....Good opportunity here. Many could benefit from a new mod that's not made for our cars mainstream.

Side note, 1 vendor has already contacted me! Will talk with this person for a while to fine tune and await other 2 vendor's responses.
