Converting 02 3.5 to Manual

I've seen a couple threads but i wanted to know if i can change my auto transmission from my 02 3.5 SE to a manual one. This will only be an option if my current transmission dies. Any input is good input. Thanks in advance.

get a donor car and swap everything over ... i can't see it costing more than about 3k if u do it that way
