3m headlight restoration kit

so my headlights were looking like crap and i had tried some polish but it only cleaned the yellowing.i had a streak of oxidation that looked like it was on the inside across the center of the headlight.my buddy paid $60 to have his done and they came out really good but i wasnt ready to spend that.did some reviews and decided with the 3m kit at autozone for $25.just followed directions and here are my before and after.

When I bought the kit the manager told me to make sure I bought a uv protectant to apply after which I did so hopefully they stay clean.

You also need to reapply sealant on the lense since you took off the old coat. That way, the lender week stay clear longer and won't tarnish as quickly.

Well, that's a good reason to clean up! That looks great!

your right tl2, i ordered 6000k kit off ebay.after installing them i told myself the same thing.more like 8000k.a little too blue for me but they`re already on so i`ll ride em till they die then go with a 5000k.

I had the same results using the Meguiars Headlight Restoration kit! Enjoy! And yea those HID's def. look 8000K not 6000K... Love those Nokya Fogs though! Got the same ones for my dad's Tacoma X-Runner - Now I just have to talk him into an HID kit!
