Intake cleaning

My wife's got an 07 Maxima and the dealer wants to charge a ridiculous amount for the intake/plenum cleaning. I use Sea Foam on my jeeps but I'm afraid to do that to her car. Is there something I can use to pull through the vacuum lines and/or put onto the TB that will yield the same results as the dealers procedure? Thanks in advance....

The dealer recommended it, is it worth it at 47K miles? I usually run intake cleaner every time I tune up my jeeps but I'm new to Nissan's and want to keep her car in 100% condition.

i wouldnt worry about that for now. just make sure u change the airbox filter and rung good fuel and add fuel system cleaner evrynow and then, and change your oil on time and u should be good.. i havent heard of newer maxima running the seafoam but i wouldnt. it should be ok. try searching around on maxima.org on that or post and ask but i never used that stuff and never really seen anyone suggest intake cleanup as a maint.
