VDC OFF light

i recently changed out the dash on my 04 maxima SL it had a stock khaki dash ... i changed it to a black one ,,,, once i plugged everthing back in everything worked fine but i noticed my vdc light said off on the spedometer so i took off the fuse panel and made sure everything was plugged in correctly to the button for the VDC and yes it was all correct... except now the light stays on all the time even if i push the button it will just remain on .... any ideas?

sorry for the long paragraph all i meant to say is ... my VDC OFF light turns on only when car is in motion any idea what i should do?

ok for future reference ... i got this fixed , what had to be done was reprogram the VDC and that takes about 5 minutes and bam presto it works.... but i had a bad experience at the nissan dealer that trip me out ... they wanted to charge me 4000$ to fix it and i got it done for 160$ just so you know how horrible they are never go to a dealer its a waste of life and money going there.
