2007 Maxima Chrome Roof Trim/Strips
K So After my previous thread in which the dealership replaced the sunroof motor, I noticed that my two strips on the roof of the car and front windshield are both faded looking and the ones on the back windows are chrome. Well my dealership told me (after fixing my sunroof) that when the car was delivered there were clear plastic protectors over this and that I would have to just pull the tape off of the chrome strips and they would be fine.
Went home and did it, but it seems as if they have melted onto the car. I pulled slowly and got all of it off but there is like a residue and marks where the tape has been and the strips sort of look like zebra striped ha. NOW, my question is, HOW do I clean these off? Or should I just let the dealership replace them since I have like 3k miles left before my warranty runs out?
