'08 Maxima Halogen to H.I.D conversion Serious Problems...Need Help/Sugestions

Ok so I have a 2008 Maxima SE, I purchased it with the least possible options because I going to swap most stuff with aftermarket, so it did not come with HID. A few Days ago, I went to a local shop to get my HID conversion kit installed. I made sure that the kit was Japanese made (Not the cheap Chinese crap). Everything seemed fine when I left the shop. It looked great exept for the fact that every once in a while one of them wouldnt turn on, but I was told that will go away after a few hours of use(Break in) which seemed bogus to me in the first place..

Well today I took the car out for the first time at night....and WOW, I can't see S**t!!! My lights are all messed up, pointing god knows where.. My high beams are barely noticible, and hit somewhere at the hight of a 3rd story of an appartment building form 100 feet away. Lights seem to point downwards, and create 3 stripes of concentrated light.

Is this something to do with Alignment??? or maybe they used the wrong bulb, like 9005 instead of 9006..Whats the difference????? Im trying to go back but the guy had an emergency, and wont be back for a week, and I cant even drive like this cause I cant see....I'll post some pics..

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yeah man that is really weird, and it is not normal. So you should make sure you get your money back or get it fixed.

I did an aftermarket HID conversion also, but I did it myself with the help of a friend. You should not be having streaks of light. There maybe something wrong with the placemement of the bulbs which is why you are having one point further than the other. The streaking issue could be due to the fact that the lense on your car maybe different then the lenses used on a car that is factory HID.
