My pedal squeeks every now and then as well but isn't too annoying. Thinking about it it's probably coming from the pivot-point for the pedal. A lil lithium grease from a spray can on that point should take care of it IMO.
On upgrading the clutch, the stiffer/more aggresive the clutch the firmer the pedal will be because of the increased pressure load of that clutch.
I got the pleasure of driving a 6spd 2013 fusion, I was amazed at how increadably light the feel was! Felt like nothing compared to mine and it's a 2.5 lol ... It seems nissan clutches are firmer/stiffer then other makes...

Damn this an old thread, but yeah now with 76k miles pedal squeaks not too bad thought. I'd love to change it but its not my priority for now. Another thing is when I drive alot of stop and go traffic, the pedal gets annoying in a way where it goes half way up then gets stuck in a spot and loosens up quick where it kinda jerks the car make me look like an idiot never drove manual.

My pedal was feeling pretty crumby (lots of "friction" as in not a smooth movement) and very often squeaked like an old barn door, made me feel like I was driving some piece of junk and was really annoying.
Solution: Replaced clutch pedal assembly. My orig pedal actually split near a joint! so the pedal itself was slightly off its normal travel position and metal was rubbing together. Got it replaced and clutch pedal felt good as new (replacement has better welds on it, too)
^sorry can't be of much help there, befriended one of the techs, so I paid discounted price and cheap labor. FWIW he charged me $50 for parts and $35 labor (took him 20mins in his driveway)
I was searching the actual part number for that assembly. Unfortunately, the online catalogs don't have accurate pictures or any pictures at all on some of products.
I had a squeaky clutch pedal. First off the pedal assembly was broken in some parts and I welded them together, this also fixed a 'popping' noise I had when I shifted.
It still squeaked, so I dabbed some WD40 onto it and it sounds good as new.

What exactly did u dab it on? I have a squeak also... Thanks!
Mine broke right where that picture shows, correction my first 3 pedals broke right where your picture shows. The other 2 came apart around the sides. The one I'm using now creaks too but I'm tired of replacing these pedals now so I'll drive on it till the damn thing breaks off
