We are having a company car show in June and it's open to all vehicles, motorcycles, etc... I was going to enter my SE-R, but started thinking if it's "car show material?" I'm sure the car show will be mainly classics, 69 Camaro's, 55 Chevy's, etc...and didn't want to be "that guy" who brings his import. I also feel that the SE-R is fairly rare and unique and think that it should be shown off. What would you guys do?

why not? if it's a clean ride, just bring it up there....what's the worst that can happen, someone will make fun of you for having a nissan? Agressive styling, nice rims, nice exhaust, embroidered leather seats....just don't bring it up there without detailing it and you will be alright
Oh trust me, it is going to look perfect, I don't even drive it when it rains. You are right though, there are aspects of the car that are definitely worth showing off. Plus, my mom is making me a custom leather shift boot with gray stitching, and maybe a matching e-brake boot. Just another thing that will stand out. She's an accomplished seamstress and they cost $70 online. I might see if she can do them for the board members too if you guys are interested.
It would work fine at a car show. Detail it really good, outside inside and under the hood. It's a nice looking 4-door and i bet it will net you a few thumbs up...
And as for leather boot for e-brake i would love that. Its one of the things that kills me about the car. Inside is all leather/pseudo suede and they throw that crappy plastic e-brake. It doesnt funtion with the car at all...
I think any car is show material, its all about presentation! clean car and also a car that you dont see all the time is always a good thing! just have to point out some of the difference between the se-r and the other trims.. just take it and take a lot of pics

sorry to say but i dont think it is...especially a stock one or any stock car..thats why u dont see stock cars at shows regardless how "rare" u think ur car is..stock cars jus dont belong in car show imo..but since this sounds like some baby small company car show then i guess it cant hurt..if i recall wasnt there that ugly stock sentra with hubs that entered some country animal fair car show and actuallly won a trophy lol..so u might have a chance...

1. This is a small car show, or a "baby" car show as you like to call it
2. The intent is for employees show off their cars, there will be little judging if any on the crowd's favorite
3. This isn't the "mine is bigger" type of show that you might be thinking

a restored stock old skoo chevy is no comparison to any non classic stock car..and like i said in a reg car show stock ser aint shit...but u said its some small baby company car show so thats koo...maybe u should be more specific in ur thread title then..maybe something like "do u think the ser is a "best looking car contest" possible winner

Look up Dodge Durango Shelby.....its a stock car...is it not show worthy? I go to shows with a limited import class. The Lotus Elise is there and there is a classic POS Jag V12. In all honesty I have got mine in 2 shows this summer. Its not how rare it is across the world its for your area. There are not even slightly modded Altimas in my area. You need to stop hating on the car that you drive and let ppl have some fun with rare cars.

To the OP. Listen. Just show her. I am showing a 2.5 for Christ sake! If a SE-R pulled up to the show in the import class....it would probably win stock.....

I entered my acura legend in my GF's company car show and took 4th. some lady with an escalade with 24's and mad tv's took 1st, then a supra, then a lotus then mine.. it was fun. no harm. so just enter it and have fun.

Yeah i mean its way better then some sentra and your not completely stock atleast your lowered and have some mods... lowered makes this car look 283249324328 times better!!
