finally cut my intake

So im going back to the 1/4 mile track one last time, probably last time i will with this car.

So i shortened the fujita intake so its next to the battery. MAN IT SOUNDS AWESOME! Sounds so deep and mean once above 4k.

Now that i took the injen hydrosheild off it(breathe-able cover to keep water out) i feel a definite difference. Seems to be alot more consistent with the power and have a tad more uptop. Tomorrow at the track will show all i guess.

I've never personally heard a WAI, but now its not as raspy and def alot more growl.

I liked the sound before, but i needed to raise the filter up so i could take the cover off it so the rain/snow didnt get to it.

the new sound was just a nice bonus

i moved my nismo to a wai too, there is a sound difference but i dont know if i like it

i just converted my nismo to wai also. i went to change my oil this past weekend and when i popped my hood i noticed the bypass filter on the nismo was torn to shreds and im sure i was suckin in dirty air, awesome. so i switched to wai. it does sound great above 4k, car also has slightly better throttle response. also will be easier to clean the new Amsoil Ea filter i got for it.
