I think I know how on gonna finish this car now ...def no turbo or supercharger like u guys. I'm goin a 100 -150 shot after I put in cams and oil pump and uprev, want to do head and rod bolts although head not 100%, paint wheels black maybe some gold and calipers gold, new front lip and headlights and then done. It'll be a highway sleeper. I just can't justify a fwd turbo. I hope when when we all done we should all meet somewhere and see who did the best, or just post 1/4 lol. This includes you Lawrence we might actually find what's really under there one day
Good thinking. That was my original plan too.

Lol, All I will say is that bolt on turbo Altimas are overrated....they create alot of hype, BECAUSE they are mostly just bolted on vs. really thought out and planned. NA (SER anyway) for LIFE! (This excludes Aaron). I plan to prove my point! lol

No more turbo Lawrence?

Have to agree with you. Only thought out altima was Dumnice even though his kit was the SFR kit. His build was pretty sweet.

Yeah I saw his build, I agree. I however expect Aaron's to shadow his ONLY because he has something to compare against, lol, and the fact he is taking as long OR longer than I am.

Doing alright. Got all my paperwork and pictures together to show the owner of the shop the damages to my car. I'm going to try and get a break this week to go up there and talk to him. I need to do it soon.

Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Got back to working after a couple weeks. Removed all coolant lines, rear timing cover bolts, and LIM to pull the head. The rear timing cover is a bitch to break loose. I've checked multiple times and know I have all the bolts out. Looks like its hung up on the water pump. I removed the 3 bolts for it but can't get that to budge either... Ideas?

Meanwhile, as another side project, I'm trying to install my RL traction rods and front endlinks (without cutting the stock endlinks). I couldn't bust loose one of the subframe bolts to pull the sway bar. It's soaked in PB right now. But I did pull the front sway bar bushings to see if I can find something from Energy Suspension to fit. May try the 350z ES steering column bushing too while I'm at it.

I contacted the shop again and they are still ignoring my situation. Now I will submit my case to Fox News "7 On Your Side".

I dont remember the exact sizes, but its either an m8 or an m10 bolt by 1.25 that you thread into the water pump. Google search it to see what to do, and it comes right out

2 M8 x 1.25 50mm (2") long. I did some searching and found it yesterday. I need to stop by Home Depot and grab a couple when I get a chance. Maybe tonight.

Oh ya have fun with the 02 fitment, remember I asked Aaron and taz a whole bunch of stuff, ended up splicing the 02 wiring not the factory to extend them. Just a friendly reminder. I like the headers under the tree! Uprev is gonna be mine, cams got to wait prob til taxes 2kids + presents + girlfriend+ everybody else = broke. Merry Christmas lmao

An extra what? lol. Got an email back from Brian and he said he ended up with an extra EGR-less rear header unexpectedly. I was like yea that's mine lol. He's gonna swap them for me. I know the O2 wires have to be extended. I'm going to see if I can fish the wires out of the bundle and run them seperate before I cut anything. Not like I'm driving it anytime soon.. Bought a 10mm Hex Socket to remove the head and the damn socket snapped in half. It's Craftsman so I can replace it but what good will it do if I can't break the bolts loose!? May have to try a standard allen key. I was able to safely pull out the water pump but the rear timing cover still won't break loose!
