SE-R wheels brand new from dealership?

I am considering purchacing a brand new set of se-r wheels (still in the boxes) from a nissan dealership for a little more than 1500.00 which is tax included. Since these wheels are so hard to find used, does this seem to be a ok price or is that outrageous? Just wanted to get yall's thoughts on this.

That's way too much. You have too many options for that kind of budget. But if you have to have SE-R wheels, so be it.

I'm surprised they still have it 'new' in box. The car's been discontinued for 6 years. Hope they aren't selling you reconditioned wheels and putting MSRP on it.

.......My 1st thought also. OP, I wouldnt spend that amount, BUT thats just my opinion. I spend alot of money on other car parts that others wont/dont understand. I would however look around a bit more. Yes there is a following for the coveted SER wheels, but holding out and searching will pay off. L31_06 bought my SER wheels.

Why are there two part numbers for the ser wheels on that site? The price difference makes me wonder...

1500 isn't too bad for all 4. I paid (well the insurance company paid) 1500 for 2 of them from the dealer over a year ago. They also said there were 5 left in the country. I doubt the other 3 are still out there but I could be wrong

^ I was looking at Gram lights and other Ray's wheels on their site. For $1500 or even $2000, there are plenty of options. Form and Function is ways high on my book. Then again, if you must have the Mighty SE-R wheels, so be it.

I was cut off and hit a curb. It messed up 2 of my rims. They needed a receipt to pay me for them. Trust me, I would have bought something else if I could. Now I have 2 extra rims with bad road rash on them. Eventually I will get them fixed and color matched.

i wouldnt think twice about spending 1500 for a set of 4 new SER wheels. they are sick. I'm glad i got a SER and whenever i get a new car, i may buy a new set and put them on my new one.

hey, theyre forged. its not like ur spending 1500 for big rims that will bend like aluminum lol
