Yep, was wondering that also , it used to be something else a while back , lots of experienced members don t come here anymore or might just look around.

Guess also that lots of guys swap rides for something else han Nissan & don t come here anymore . Or went to other hobbies , interests I

Some other Nissan Forums seem real quiet also.

Most of them hide out in the OT section or the Altima, VQ Nation, and SER groups on FB.

yeah there's two on FB that i know of that are super active. But why does each post have so many views and so little replies here? unless one person is viewing every post more than once...? what's the deal?

I've often wondered that myself, but I assumed it had something to do with spambots, or similar.

Side note, how did you go about setting up your BC coils? I put mine on over the weekend, but the settings are WAAAAY off (bought them secondhand). They're too low and too rough.

Logically, one cannot post if one does not view first.
Mathematically, there cannot ever be more posts than views.
Etiquette-wise, most people are probably keeping silent if they have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation*
Investigation-wise, some people (despite not knowing the answer) may be interested in the conversation without having something to say.
Memory-wise, people might need to review a post again to find an old answer.
Observation-wise, as of today's date you have been a member for about 19 months and posted 66 times (twice on this thread). You appear to have the same characteristics of those you are critiquing.

*My response is a perfect example of "nothing intelligent to add". I simply did it to boost the number of replies to your thread so you could sleep better tonight.

I just followed this for the preload and adjusted the height. Sorry but I couldn't tell you more because I didn't wanna experiment in fear something going wrong

I would guess that the Altima isn't as much of a tuner car like say the 350Z, Mustang etc.

Also I don't think this car draws as many DIY people. Most people who own an Altima just take it to a mechanic/dealership when they have a problem.

As for the SER I can't say really what Nissan was shooting for when they made this car, as it seems to be in between a loaded Altima, and a Maxima.

Also keep in mind there wasn't that many Altima SER's made so that also narrows it down, then like others have said the main people who used to be really into the SER have changed vehicles.

I'm on other car forums, and usually post quite a bit of posts when I'm building a car, but then slow down on posts/threads after I finish.

After I get the SER where I want it I will hang around to give back to the forum, and try to help where I can as people here have helped me.

I was asking myself this question as well. Granted for the majority of time I've looked at posts also to get answers on recommended modding for the SER or diy's for repairs. lol

I recently bought an '06 SE-R 6spd. Love it but it's needed more repairs than I initially thought. I see a lot of threads with folks that have done some great upgrades that seem beyond my budget. Currently have an aftermarket exhaust on it, bought it this way and there's no records as to did the work and what type of exhaust it is. Would like to possibly put a magnaflow on instead. This sounds as though screws are in a tin can when the rpms hit 2500+. Thought about a CAI as well and a K&N air filter, plus some racinglines springs to lower it about 2" up front. Will check the other areas mentioned earlier but would love input here as well.

...Live for the open road...
