Has anyone put an aftermarket navigation system in their altima? Everything went alright with an avn6610 install including maintaining my steering wheel control using a Pac-ecl. But am unable to locate the VSS wire. can someone help me!
Thanks for the quick reply You people are amazing! I will try tommorrow when I get out of work. Thanks. I asked one of my local installers if I had a vss wire and he said it uses can low and can high because it uses a cvt transmission, you know from that point I just smiled and said really okayyyy!
Thanks for the info I connected the VSS wire from the Eclipse avn6610 to the harness in back of the instrument cluster to the wire located position 30 which is a blue/black striped and gray spotted wire and my gds unit is picking up the speed pulse. Thanks! In the beggining it was giving inaccurate readings like half the speed I was actually doing but eventually corrected itself.
I found this online sometime back, maybe it was from tooslow?
Forget the pin #s, just tap this wire, it worked both for me (sedan) and my bro (coupe) By the way disregard the color (violet and white, someone was high when they made this) on the picture, it's blue and black like it was stated in previous posts.
