Need Help (Intelligent Key System warning Light)

This morning after the ignition switch is pushed to the on position, this light comes on for about 2 seconds and then turn off. What is that mean help please.

any pics...? i know you stated it only comes on for about 2 sec. but you could try to snap a photo of the error and post it. My guess is that it could be a low battery in your key...? Check your manual.

Fob battery has about 25% left. Your car is about a year old right? If this battery is weak your spare FOB battery is right behind, even though you may not have even used it yet.

My is 2008 Altima 2.5 S Precision Gray , that is a photo exactly when the ignition switch is pushed to the on position and how do I'm gonna replace the battery? and where do I get the battery, Dealer?

refer to your manual. it defines how to replace a battery and what type of battery it is (cr 2030 or 35 .. i cant remember correctly)

Almost in the middle. CR2032 .

The spare fob should have decent life left if unused however it won't be like a standard remote with almost full battery power. I've been riding around with the battery warning light for about a month and a half and it still works in cold... COLD... weather.

I went to radio shack, opened up the key fob there and they looked at the battery and gave me a raplacement. cost $6 and about 2 minutes

and regardless of how dead the battery is, the Fob will always start the car when placed in the slot. I actually tested it by removing my battery and trying to start the car. and it worked.

1998 nissan 200sx se (daily driver)
2007 nissan altima 2.5s cvt (wife/family car)

correct... that's what its there for...

bought a 3 pack from Radio Shack for 10 bucks... and the guy replaced it for me... (bought the 3 pack because the garage door openers use the same battery before I got the homelink mirror )
