Lightbulb Quick Question - Headlight Adjustment

I was just wondering if anyone here ever adjusted their headlights.

I know that you turn the green rubber screw as shown here:

(borrowed from scrutmonkey - thx)

But do you turn (counter)clockwise, to raise or lower the headlight?

Also, how much of an angle change can I expect?
-like a quarter turn would be sufficient, or like 3-4 turns?

(fyi - couldn't search/find anything re: this - no flaming)

I put up a link to a PDF on how a person aimed his headlights. I used card board, Sharpie, measuring tape, a towel, and a #3 Phillips. The method is better than "guessing" on height adjustments.

The normal thing would be to move your car about 2 car lengths back and adjust one headlight at a time with a towel over the other light so you can see where the one headlight is aimed. not sure if any of that makes sense...but check out the link in the mods list where you got the pic from.

B Headlamp LH (UP/DOWN)
