How often do you get your oil changed?

I know the rule of the thumb is 3000 miles but I also know not everyone does it that frequently and some cars are different, etc. I personally usually do it every 3 but I'm creeping up on 5k now and I can't get the car until Monday...

Should be worried or is it not that serious? I figured I'd ask here since you guys all have the same car.

pennzoil ultra ...going on 3k. I usually shoot for 4k mile oil changes and that gives me leeway if I don't have any free time for a few weeks. Most of the time it ends up being 4500-5k mile oil changes

Full synthetic

I go full synthetic for mine and I went about 7000, Nissan said they recommend around 6000. Of course my car just hit the 7000 mark. So its only had one oil change.

10K on full synthetic (either M1 or Pennzoil Platinum).
I am out of warranty period. If you are still in your warranty period, I would use dino oil and stick with the mfg recommended oil change period.

10k?

My salesman had told me around 9k on full synthetic, but then my tech at NIssan said around 6k. So i went in the middle and changed it at 7k. I now have 7300 miles on the car since I bought in January. So around 7k on full synthetic seems to work for me and keeps me under my Platinum Warranty I got from them.

It's not the oil you have to worry about, it's the oil filter. They stop filtering after 3000 miles.

Holy balls, you never drive. That's a little less than half of what I do in a year.

If you have a ton of shit in your oil. Even then, it'll filter...Just flow less.
