so i also applied sound dampener to my rear seat, quarter panels, and rear tire wells. such a huge difference in road noise, and overall the temperature of my car is much more neutral now when i enter it. doors feel heavier and more "expensive", and have a nice feel to them when closed.
definitely a mod im happy with doin!
speaking of arm rests, any idea how i can get mine to stop being so wobbly? when i get in and sit down, the whole thing shifts to the right.
[QUOTE=jonmalexander;4308472]Good call... Mine is the same way. The trim around my shifted is pretty loose as well.
Move your front seats all the way up and check the 2 screws, 1 on each side very bottom of the console.............I found one of my screws on the carpet one day while vacuuming......might be a common problem....

This have been a common issue since the day this car hit the market. Those screws just get loose over time and fall out.
i just got the 10sqft 50mil one. it was only $25 shipped so i said what they hay. im gonna do my hood and trunk lid atleast. and then the spare tire well. but im impressed with what i got so far so im gonna order another kit or two soon.
yeah there isn't too much factory sound deadening so putting sound deadener in those areas really helps a lot. I would assume it would be even better if you use the thicker or cloth material on top of the sound deadener for the inner sound waves!!

got into an accident tonight.
So I am making a left turn on a green arrow, and this dude in a f150 runs his light goin parallel to me, he sees me and slams on his brakes, I turned to side enough to avoid getting sideswiped, so it coulda much been worse. But he hit my front end and I'm leaking fluids now. whole bumper was messed up, grill shattered, right headlight cracked, fog light broken, ac condenser and radiator shifted a bit, as well as the front reinforcement bar being moved/curved. hopefully no frame damage
