Got my hood pins in the mail over the weekend. Will be installing it this weekend. Had to get it to be on the safe side. Noticed when I speed in the highway, my hood would shake. Thanks to the gap between my hood and the Stillen fascia. Will post pic when done installing.

You shouldn't need hood pins with a stock hood

Thats 100%true. I dont need it but when Im driving on the highway going 65-75+mph. You can actually see my hood shake like hell, due to the huge gap between the hood and Stillen bumper Ive had for years. You can also stick your whole hand in there too. So to be on the safe side and avoid my hood flying towards my windshield(lets say), I'll just install it. It will also help with the gap issue. I've been wanting to do this since.. when I met (cant recall his name) one of the member from here at last years meet, with the white Altima.
Heres an idea(not a fine pic) but you can see somewhat of my gap and the white Altimas gap since we both have the same Fascia.

You can also see better clearer pic on my signature below.

I understand it its just for piece of mind, but your his isn't going to pop up unless you damaged your lock. Mine did the same thing with the ait grill, its just more air flow is allowed in, but the OEM hood won't pop open if its in good shape.

Kinda curious how that's going to help with gap when the gap is caused by the front fascia, and not the hood.

Good question bro. Maybe to have the hood & bumper flushed more together? We'll find out this weekend. If it doesnt turn out well then I'll just leave it there for show.
