Haven't really posted in this particular thread to much but added a CF universal splitter to my Stillen Lip. I recently had the entire front end repainted and wanted to try and reduce the wear and tear of scraping paint off the underside of the lip. The paint on my car is expensive and extremely had to match but my body guy is amazing but charges a lot. You get what you pay for is what I always say. Any how I wanted something that would go with the flow of the lip and my overall look. These Universal Splitters were just perfect. Cheap enough to replace when needed. Let me know what you think. Also if you didn't notice the Stillen Lip slants upwards a bit and these fit perfectly and level it out a bit.

Go look up the definition of detonation, fuel with too low of an octane rating is definitely a cause. I'd run nothing but premium in a 3.5, could give a damn less how many ppl with VQs you know.
I didn't read the posts that led up to this, I'm hoping I'm not stepping into a hornets nest here but I gotta say ...
Modern cars will rarely if ever have a detonation problem due to octane levels. The ECU will retard the timing if ping conditions are detected protecting the engine. This will only result in decreased efficiency / performance.
Detonation is an issue from the cap and rotor days!

And then some nifty solid-mount pedal covers. Did I mention how much fun it was drilling through the park-brake pedal???
Bought the same pedal kit on ebay. Just haven't installed it yet. Did you have to drill through them all or does the rubber pull off on brake and acellerator?
The rubber comes off the brake pedal and the parking brake. The accelerator is actually plastic and has no cover. You just have to remove the rubber backings from the new covers and mark your holes. Remember that none of the surfaces are flat so you need to start with a small pilot hole first. The dead pedal actually uses self-tapping screws that do not need much torque. You don't want to strip them out as they are screwing into the existing pad. Good luck
