id stay away from the shaving of the wheels idea

pulling the body of the rear to look like a fender doesnt seem that would work either. just go the 4x4 route and add fender flares

Do not shave the wheels, you can make a custom wide body if you want to, but shaving the wheels just so they fit your car is not a good idea at all.

I have a friend that has his own auto bodyshop here is South el monte CA. and he told me we can do something about it in the rear fenders. I was thinking something like this

jmo, it looks tacky. But I'm sure some people would like it. If your friend is really good, he can put proper flares on that flows with the body line.

Although this is a charger a custom made Widebody kit similar to this would look much better, I guess or this BMW.

It would be slick looking when all is done

Jajajaja thats true

but I have never seen an altima with wide body kit, I will go my friends shop this weekend and see what we can do about it I hope I make the right decision

This might be a little more aggressive than you like, but this flows pretty well with the body style of the z. I would suggest looking up g37 widebody kits pictures or widebody coupe ie. (different car makers coupe with widebody kits, similar to the challenger widebody kit) pics via google and check out the different styles and see what catches your fancy so you could at least have a starting point and go from there.

Is that a wide body kit or he just pulled his rear fenders? I will show this pic to my friend so he can have an idea how I want it.

He had a shop widen the rear. i don't know if they added aftermarket flares and molded it or not. I haven't seen him in a long time, so I couldn't even ask him.

I just remembered, they were custom flares that were made by SDCS. They are a customizing body shop here in SD.

Interesting, I live in LA so San diego is not that far I can drive down there to get an estimate and get the nismo fit, also I was looking on ebay and I found this maybe someone is interested. Build a widebody kit with fender flares and hopes and dreams...But Good Luck its alot of work.
