It looks great... to be clear this fits overtop of the mirror or it is the entire mirror set?

And it sounds like it can be done for the 05 SE-R? What's the total cost, I might be VERY interested.

It fits on top of the existing mirror and is not the entire mirror set just a cover cap.

It probablly can be done for the 05-SER but these that are being made will not fit. I am uncertain on the new Maxima as I will check over the weekend. But as of right now 4th Gen Altimas with the turn style blinkers.

Total cost depends on how many people jump on board and are willing to put the deposit down during the process of them making the mold and product. They estimate shipping any wheres from $10-$20 depending where you live in the States. If we get 30 peeps we can have them for $100 if we get less then we pay a little more for them. First post has the break down.

Shall I mark you down iceman_arc?

Sub'd for more info I would be really interested if they can also be made for altimas without the blinkers like others have mentioned. Got to match it up with the diffuser :P thanks winterfrost for the effort to bring another product available for our vehicles.

I honestly need to see the mirror from an S and check to see if they are similar in shape. I have a spare set of covers I was going to donate to this project that there were going to make the mold from which already has the blinker cut out. I will find out more details if they can make a universal like mold.

that would be a great price, but if this group is not to fit my 3rd gen then I don't think I can. Thanks for asking, that would have been awesome...
pm me if things change within the next few days I have to order this weekend. So far I am planning to get the activetuning mirrors for $325 :/

Plan b: You can buy the caps and wrap them yourself. A pair can be had for less than $50 shipped (blinker or non-blinker). Add in the carbon fiber wrap and you should be well under the $100+ price of stick on cf parts.

I had been contemplating on doing just that but could never decide on what vinyl. I'll probably check out the local junk yards for some mirrors. I have already seen a couple of same gen altis in some around town. Plus if I do go for the covers color won't matter.

The S looks like it is rounder and flares up at the end and has more painted surface going closer to the base. Definitely different shape and size.

i'm shock that inspiration is not IN, is it because you don't have the turn signals INSPI, but Chris i think i have a set of (S) style mirros laying around if i find them i could give them to you to help out the others and help this group buy.
